Course Syllabus
Research Assignment Handouts: Essential Elements to Promote Student Success, is a self-paced online course to help faculty design better instructional handouts for students' research assignments. It is based on a report from Project Information Literacy (http://projectinfolit.org/).
4 FPG clock hours: In order to receive credit for 4 FPG Salary advancement hours, participants must be entered on the roster, engage in all modules and complete all assignments with an 80% or above grade.
Seven required and graded assignments are listed below. In addition, three 3 FPG forms must be submitted in order to earn the clock hours.
Participants will start and end within one of the four sections offered throughout the academic year 2012-2013.
- Start: Aug. 13 Complete by: Oct. 12
- Start: Oct. 15 Complete by: Dec. 14
- Start: Jan. 7 Complete by: Mar. 8
- Start: Mar. 18 Complete by May 10
- Start May 20 Complete by June 28
